We just installed the subscription update which includes the structure tab, we want to use the truss feature but it asks for a truss family. We obviously have none created and ones off of Autodesk seek don't work. According to the help file you create truss families with a the following template file "Structural Trusses.rte" but we don't have that one. We do have a template called "Structural - Complex and Trusses.rte" but it doesn't match up with the help file walkthrough at all. Anyone have any suggestions?
And just so we are clear I do know of tools4revit's Truss+ program but since trusses are apparently built into Revit already we would prefer not to purchase something that may become unnecessary.
