Hello, I seem to have lost my site plan layout on my project and can't figure out how to manully set up a level that just displays all the roofs from above. I'm been fiddling with the view depth but as I'm relatively new to Revit I can't seem to get the correct depths.
Any help greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Sam
If you look in View Properties in a plan view,
scroll down to View Range and click the button that says 'Edit...' next to it,
by default in a Metric setup the entries read something like this:
Primary Range
Top: Associated Level (name of lowest? plan level) Offset: 100000 (mm)
Cut plane: Associated Level (grayed out) Offset: 100000
Bottom: Level Below
View Depth
Level: Level Below
I've just changed my units to feet and the 100000 mm is now 328' 1 1/2"
Beyond that I'm not sure if there is anything special about a site view in Visibility Graphics - Topography is on I think whereas in a normal plan view it is off.
If you are in the US you should have a default template called DefaultUS-Canad.rte provided in your templates folder.
