I have installed Revit 9.1 in Windows 7 using the install in XP mode.Everything works great except I cannot install downloads from the Library into my drawing. Has anyone else had this problem? Even downloads from other sites will not install. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Wow, it's time for you to upgrade.. :)

9.1 is 2006 software, I can't imagine many people here on the forums are still using 9.1.

I agree that version 9.1 is a quite old. Nevertheless, sometimes a project can last for years. Sometimes a project is too big to convert to the newer version without losing data or 3D geometry in the upgraqde process. I still have one project stuck in version 2008 because we cannot upgrade it without seriously compromising the 3D geometry plus it is 250mb in size.

Since Revit does not allow downgrading to older versions. One must keep the older versions of Revit regardless of the operating system. Revit 2008 still works in Vista 64-bit.

I am just saying it might be hard to find support for your problem. Hopefully for your sake, someone is still using 9.1 on Windows 7 too.
