Sometimes I am having an elevation wall cleanup issue. The walls are built, so that I can pull the finish material down over the floor framing. However, sometimes when the walls meet at an outside corner a small portion of one wall does not extend to the lower line. It remains aligned with the "base parameter" of the wall. I have had a hard time fixing the issue after the fact.

to see the issue clearly, you need to upload cleaned rvt file of these 2 walls.

I have reattached a file illustrating the correct and incorrect corner conditions.

Any thoughts would be appreciated...

There are several options here:

1. Build a Stacked Wall which has the main wall type and also contains a separate wall type of only the finish which drops down. You can specify the vertical offset below the Level
of the finish wall in the stacked wall properties.

2. Use an integral wall sweep at the bottom of your wall. ( or Hosted wall Sweep.)

3. Build separate walls and then use Join Gemoetry.

Finally got it to work simply using the corner cleanup tool. The corner was set to "butt" rather than miter...thought I had tried that previously....
