Custom Door Tags and labels

I am trying to create a custom door tag that will read the room / space number and utilize a sequential suffix letter. For example, if you have a room labeled with Room #101 and this room has two doors in it, then the door tags would read 101A & 101B.

Can anyone tell me how to create a tag that will read and schedule this way?

Not possible, so go to your door schedule and add the fields "to Room and From room" then renumber you doors from the schedule
or go to avatechs website and buy there door utility.

Remember that tags read the properties of the family that they tag. So if you tag a door it will read the properties of the door. Room Number is not a door property, thus sbrown's response.
