View Reference in Text Notes

Our firm is constantly mentioning in notes, "See detail 2/A3.20"....
We've just changed our sheet numbers and had to go through all the text notes and look for all those references to change them.

Wouldn't it be great if Revit had a view reference tag for this? Anyone know if this is possible?

It would be great if small bits of text could be linked to views so they would auto update when sheet or detail numbers changed. Currently though I don't know of a way to do this and fortunately I've gotten most of the people in our firm to abandone this practice due to the conflicts it can create.

It seems like such a simple wish list item although it's not huge deal. I thought I almost had the solution but those system families are virtually untouchable.

What if a Detail Head was only the text part and not the actual circle so it just looked like
"1/A1.21"? Then you could just reference other view and select your detail. I went into the family, deleted out the circle and the extra lines and it didn't work right away and I didn't spend much time with it.
