Publishing Transparent Materials to Google Earth

Does anyone know if transparent materials from Revit can be published to Google Earth. I have applied glass and other forms of transparent material to my in place mass, but once I Publish to Google Earth, it becomes opaque. Sketchup has this ability, so it leads me to believe Google Earth supports transparent forms, I just don't know how to get Revit to act the same.

I am having this exact same problem. I also am having trouble making my trees appear green. Has anyone figured out how to export Revit files to Google Earth so that the materials appear transparent?

have you tried importing your model into sketchup, applying the materials there, then uploading?
