We want to use some images in some demo drawings, makes it easy to call out stuff to be demolished. I'm trying to decide what makes the most sense. Should we bring the images straight into the sheet and then add text there? Or do we make drafting views, bring in the images, and add text. Does it even matter?

IF you place them directly onto a sheet, it'll work, but then you'll have to either place text, or create a "fake" view title (if you want one). If you want to reference them on a plan in anyway, its better to bring them into another view so the titles, and referencing become more automated.

Hey there,
I agree with Scott. I like to bring anything into a drafting view so that it gets a view title when placed on a sheet.

Best of luck and please post your results.

I agree with both Scott and Steven. Placing the images in drafting views and then inserting them in drawing sheets also allows you to show it in view lists, if you ever need to list it...
