I've installed Revit on my system (Laptop, Win 7). I've seen on book Masterning Revit Architecture 2010, and saw page 202 about Mass ( solid and Void) but on my revit, i don't see as page 202. pic 1 about my Revit, pic 2 about book. Those tools arent available in 2010 when you go to Massing, but theyre there if you fgo to Component > Create in Place > Generic model or some other catagory.

Massing uses the Form Editor Tools.

If you upgrade a "mass" from 2009 it will have those tools.

How to upgrade from 2009 to 2010? and if i don't upgrade, How do i use this tool as 2009?

Well, you either make the shape in revit 2009, save the file, then open it in 2010. Or you work in Revit 2009.

Or, you go Component > In Place > Generic Model. Depending on what you need the mass for, that is sometimes sufficient. It doesnt behave like a Mass (im not sure mass faces work, i honestly dont recall), but you get the Classic Five tools, and you can wall/roof/curtain system by face...
