saveas error problem

I recently opened a customer drawing and at that point was no longer able to do "saveas", from the tool bar or typed prompt. When I now do "saveas" with any of my drawing AutoCAD 2009 LT feezes up and I can do nothing in AutoCAD until I shut it down. I fixed the problem for about 1 week when I did the live update maintenance patch, but now I'm back to not being able to "saveas". I can open drawings, change them, print them, save them and update them, but I can't do a "saveas".

Any help is appreciated.

If you are not getting the SaveAs dialog, it could be because there is a link to an unreachable drive or network location.
Or it could be that the SaveAs dialog is simply "off your screen"

Try using the -saveas command (prefix it with a hyphen) to get the command line version of this command.
If this works okay, then revisit one of the two possibilities above.
