Attribute Extraction

I am trying to extract attributes from a LT drawing and AutoCAD help file tells me, that I can use a counter called:
BL:NUMBER Nwww000 (Block counter; the same for MINSERT)

but it is NOT a counter - it is a numbering. Does anybody know how to count numbers of blocks in LT - with the template file?

I wonder why EATTEXT doesn´t exist in LT - must be a wish!!

Unfortunately LT is scaled down quite a lot. Most of these commands are customizations (e.g. most of the Express Tools are Lisp routines - of which EATTEXT is one).

There was (I think it's been discontinued - don't know why :roll:) an add-on for LT which would allow it to run lisp files. It also added Express Tools. I don't think ADesk would view this as a wish though, the very idea behind LT is a absolute basic drawing tool - what you're referring to starts creeping into the realm of BIM (1st step maybe, but according to ADesk it's one step too many :mrgreen:).
