Aparently there is a limit on how far you can extrude an object.

is there a system veriable or somthing to change such settings?

im trying to create a floor slab extrusion (cause its a funny shape) 135metres long.
however it wont let me. buildings are that big these days hahaha

for the mean time i have split it in half so i can continue with the project however this is a right royal pain.

any information would be great!!

I guess you're working in mm.

Draw the section 1/1000 it's real size, Extrude it 135 then scale it up by 1000.
(or 1/10 and x10 or 1/100 and x100).

I don't know why either.

I've seen this when working in mm and extremely far from the World UCS origin (not difficult to do when working in units that small). Solution is to work it out at the origin and then move into position.

Thanks guys, yea the scale thing is a simple solution.

does seem odd though that there is no system veriable for this.

anyone know where the 3dpolymesh has gone?

thanks
