Missing Callout Tag Head

Hi all,

When I make a callout to reference an existing area plan, the callout head doesn't show up - I just get the dashed box. If I make a "new view" callout or a callout that references a regular plan the head shows up. This only appears to happen with area plans. Any ideas?

Can anybody replicate this problem in their project? If it's a bug in the program I should report it to Autodesk but I wanted to make sure it wasn't something silly I was forgetting before I did the report...
