3d view matches plan view

Let's say I set up the floor plan the view the way I want it. (Certain elements are deleted.)

While I'm at the floor plan view, when I click on the view, 3d view, everything shows up. What's the reason for it?

Is there a way that the 3d view matches exactly how it looks like in the floor plan view?

Each view can be set with whatever objects on/off, overiden etc. Once you get a view set the way you want it you can save those settings as a View Template. Then you can apply that view template to other views. Each view defaults with everything on.
