Alternate to Callout

I'm a newbie laying out my first sheets. I have a "First Floor" view that shows my building and site. I want to use this view on a sheet, but want to crop out most of the site and keep just the area in the immediate vicinity of the building. I could use a callout, but it seems like that's more overhead than I need and the resulting view has a box around it.

Do I need to use a callout, or is than a simpler way to crop a view?

Or if you already have a site plan view, forget the duplicating bit and just turn on the crop region, adjust accordingly, then turn it off. You can leave it on and it will not print by default, but I like to have them off to avoid confusion when working in the view.
