Is there a way you can override graphics to semi-transparent?
I'm only seeing either transparent / halftone.

What exactly are you trying to do? Is it something you'd end up making half transparent and leaving or just a temporary view of something.

This is what I'm trying to do.

I created a view from the bottom of slab looking up. (To show the footing location.)
I made the slab itself transparent by overriding the graphic.

Then I'll see the walls above them. The problem is that the walls that are above the footings will be blocked from this view. I was thinking if I could make the footings semi-transparent so that you can tell where the footings are and yet can still see the walls above them (like the photoshop transparency effect.)

Try using the View Property parameter Underlay set to the level of your walls, with orientation Plan View.
