Attach wall to roof

Working on a Revit model I received. When I attach a wall to a roof it goes to the outer face of the roof tiles. I've checked the layers of the roof & wall and they seem OK. Any reasonable suggestions welcome.

Can you post a screen shot of what you're describing?

The answer might lie in the properties of the roof. If you have set the 'structure' component of the roof at the top, this might happen.
