[2010] Tags opaque by instance (OPEN)

I would like the ability to have text with opaque/transparent controls sort of "by instance", especially in tags...to avoid having to create a second tag type with different text visibility since I have enough different tag types to cycle through as it is.

I can't always get tags or text to fit near enough an object without some architectural conflict and having these be opaque all the time does not seem to work either. having that option would be nice.

This would be more of a platform specific request, so I would post this over in the RAC wishlist where it will get more traffic and attention.

I will leave this open for discussion though.
