I have been working on getting my floors plans cleaned up and getting all of my sheets organized. Currently I have callouts that are referenced correctly on the floor plan but the callout on the sheet does not reference back to the floor plan. Does anyone know why this has happened and know how I can possibly reference that floor plan on the callout without redrawing the callout on the floor plan?

My guess is you are using dependent views to place the floor plans on sheets. The location of the callout references is dependent view specific, i.e. you have to open the dependent view and move the reference where you need it. Doing it in the overall floor plan view does not effect the dependent views.

This was a purposeful decision by Autodesk (as opposed to a bug). When you have a callout near a matchline, the location of the reference may need to be different on each of the sheets.

Edit:
(Sorry, I really mis-understood the original post)

Are you talking about the Referencing sheet / number parameters? Revit shows the first sheet (by alphabetical order) in the dwg set that references the detail. Switching off the entire view tag category manipulates this parameter to show the next referencing sheet per alphabetical order.
We really need a drop down menu for the referencing sheet parameter where we could choose our preferred sheet from a list of available sheets.
