Grid Head - Circle Family

I'm trying to customize some of my annotation and one of the changes I'd like to make is to shrink the size of the Grid Head -Circle. So I opened the family, clicked on Family Types and changed the radius dimension. Everthing appeared to adjust properly. I saved the file and then reloaded the family into my project. In the project the Grid Head - Circles did not update even though I clicked "Yes" to overwrite the existing file. Anyone have any thoughts to this?

Try giving it a diff. name.

fyi, I think what's happening here is that revit is trying to adopt the parameters of the existing family and apply them to the new one that's being loaded in. What also works is to delete the existing one, then reload. It should work the same, but now with no redundant families
