Move a work plane

I had created a work plane from a reference plane. I used the intersection of an level and a grid to start the line for the reference plane. But when the level height is changed, the work plane stays in the same place. How do I attach them? Thanks.

In a family or a project? Did you create your workplane on an angle? If so, you might expect to have a problem since reference planes cannot be aligned/locked using intersections and end points. Depending on what you are doing, I may have a work-around but I need a little more information. One method is to use a combination of reference lines to control the location and reference planes to control the angle - but only if it is a family. Would it be possible to post an example? Or a screen shot or something?

Yea, sounds like I'm out of luck. The plane is modeled in a project, not a family. I lowered the top of steel. But everything modeled on the work plane stayed where it was.
