Automatic wall dimensions won't find edge of curtain walls

I have been trying to use the "Wall" dimension tool to dimension a wall with a string of curtain wall openings to no avail. If I place a stock "Window" it finds that just fine. The curtain wall has obviously broken the wall but does not show up when find openings is checked in the options dialogue box. If the automatic wall tool does not find curtain wall openings it is basically useless to me.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Has no one run into this issue. I would really like to resolve this if possible. Someone please respond either confirming this is a "bug" or what the work around is.

Please report this to autodesk support request.
The workaround, as much as you would hate it, is to 'edit profile' the wall and create cutouts in wall that is aligned (and may be locked) with the curtain wall.
We have the same problem for wall 'wrapping at inserts' too.
