Area types

Hi all

What I do now is space management and I would like to know how could it be done using Revit using Rooms and Areas. I need to classify each rooms into different area types such as Usable, Education etc. according to standards that have been set up by my company.

Is there any possibility for this?

Also I would like to know about some study material explaining Room and Area section of Revit in detail.

1. Area Plans and Area Schedules

2. Room Schedules and Colored Plans by Department

these 2 should give you most options you need for developing your area plans and scheduling rooms, departments, etc.
