I'm creating an Area Plan and I am curious if I can lock the square footage number on the Area Tag so when I move one wall the other adjacent wall moves to keep my locked square footage?

Schultz, what you are asking for directly is not possible - the area tags will REPORT calculated area from the physical model, but it is one-directional. You cannot use it as a means of 'fixing' or constraining area.

What you can do, is set a length constraint between you area separation lines, using the aligned dimension tool (DI). Or, if your area separation lines are aligned to wall faces, set the length contraint between the two walls.
