Hi
I'm currently working on designing my companys template standards.
In the sheets I would like to place the companys logo.
Is there a preferred image format for doing this.
I would suppose PNG (pretty good compression), but could use any format, BMP,TIFF,JPG,GIF etc.

Any ideas

I´d go for the PNG format, mainly because it´s not a Microsoft format :-)

BUT be aware... When placing images (logo) in the titleblocks, you cant use vector printing (fast) but only raster printing (slower)

Also be aware there's apparently a bug in HP printers where you need to de-select Smartspool in the Preferences > Advanced dialogue.

I hadn't thought about only being able to print via raster..

So I have decided to redesign the logo using revit tools..

I found this website
http://new.myfonts.com/WhatTheFont/
It's quite cool if you don't know which font was used 20 years ago when the logo was originally designed.

Remeber if you need to export the sheet and titleblock as a DWG the "image" you have inserted for the company logo will have to been sent with the DWG to the recipient.

We tend now to take time to draw the logo so therefore save the hassle of having to send the logo as an image to the DWG boys.
