I have 64 bit windows vista but 32 bit IE. The dropper seems to work but does not load the family into the Revit 2010 file. I have added the I-drop plug-in for 32 bit. And made autodesk seek a trusted site.

DonĀ“t know what the problem is - but why use I-Drop in the first place ? It should be considered best practice, to :
1. Download the family
2. Test/Flex it, and check that everything is working as expected.
3. Maybe rename materials etc, to company standards.
4. Test/Flex it, in a test project enviroment
5. Test/Flex it again, and again... (Different views, levels, constraints, detail levels, etc. etc.)
6. Save it to company library, and then load it from there...
Just my humble opinion
