Is there a way to put in spares on panel schedules? Our company shows all circuitry as well as spares and spaces on all of our panel schedules. Also how do you sub feed one panel to another without it showing in the panel schedules (such as feed thru lugs).

For spares, I create a workset called hidden and uncheck the visible by default option, i then put loadless junction boxes somewhere on the plan on this workset and connect them to the panel and name them spare, then uncheck the workset visibility in that view. I stopped this practice all together after we decided not to use Revit's panel schedules since they are worthless compared with our company standard. We went back to using Excel files. I guess the same reason not to use Revit's panel schedules would apply to the feed thru lugs issue, but maybe connecting the panel directly to the transformer would work, and your loads will still calculate upstream.

Umm... if you edit the circuits on the panel, there is a button labeled "Insert." This will insert a spare, and all you have to do is type "Spare" in the name slot for that circuit.

Figures theres an easy way to do that. Since I don't use the Panel scheudles, i'm not surprised. I've only attempted using the schedules once but the bosses weren't having it since they are tedious to manage and hideous to look at.
This is the second time a sollution I had was the long way. I need to pay more attention,
I'm sure one day to my surprise i'll find a post that says "how come you don't just you the Design My Project Button" and "Make sure you check which codes you need to comply with in the options before you do that"

I recall on the previous project that we did that i could only create single pole spares... Anyone know how to do 2/3 pole spares (besides just putting 2 singles next to each other and labeling them as a 2/3pole)?

You have to first select an existing breaker slot before you can insert a spare.
