Custom Curtain Systems Grids

I want to create a curtain wall system that has an irregular grid. Is there anyway to define this other than drawing the curtain grid-lines manually?

I would like to be able to define the vertical curtain grid based on a pattern such as A/B/A/C/D or some definable sequence. The reason I am doing this is when I update my mass, then update the facade to the mass all the manually placed curtain grid-lines disappear and I am forced to redraw all the curtain grids...

Depending on pattern and final requirements (scheduling of mullions and glazing among others) you can use a number of approaches;
use nested curtain systems or create custom curtain panels using geometry to represent the secondary pattern.
Nested systems may need to be adjusted for star point and offsets.

Either way look at your grid and try to find a primary pattern and the secondary patterns within to keep it as simple and flexible as possible
