Hi,

Can someone please tell me how to change the pre-defined settings for dimstyles and text in the A1 ASD.DWT files......I want to set it to default my companies text/dims.

I tried copying the dwt file and changing in there but the RBCS_Dim etc styles are'nt in there so I cant modify them....I then tried saving a project (dwg) as a .dwt but in that case it creates a template which cant be deleted....

I can do it by modding the default style every time I start a new "automatic drawing" but I want to set it up so I dont have to do this every time as its time consuming

What you need to do is start a new drawing with that template, set up your standards and save it as a template, either with a new name, such as your company name, or over the current template. It has to be saved as a .dwt file and it should automatically bring you into the templates folder when you choose to save as a .dwt file. Hope that works.
