Material Tags in Plan

Trying to use my material tag to tag a wall surface that has been painted in elevation but can't seem to select the painted surface in plan. How do I get around it?

Use an Elevation instead!

"Finish Plans" are not really very good, because what happens when you have multiple materials on the same wall? Revit won't know which material/height on the wall it should be tagging..........without using some crazy Plan Region workarounds which are really not worth it.

Hi,

tagging "painted" walls in plan is now possible with a utility in ARUtils. If your wall has simply been painted with a material you can now tag it in plan.
