Revit Extensions

I am playing around with the Revit Extensions to see what they can/can not do. I have gotten down to the end of the Extension Manger to "Steel Connections - Column Base." When I highlight a column and then execute the extension I get the following error every time/every column "The column section is incorrect". Can someone guide me in the right path to figure out how to use this extension?
