View Full Version : Structural frame issue

I am modeling a concrete structure and the structural frames extend outside the perimeter frames.
This situation happens because there is an exterior wall (filtered out in this view), and the frames seems to attach to it.
Is there a way to prevent this?

So the beams cantilevering out are joining to a wall, that is turned off in the 3D view? Have you tried trimming the beams back to the edge beam shown? Or does it still try and extend the beams to the wall? Possibly set the wall to non-bearing if you dont want to to join?

The wall is already set to non bearing, and the solution was a mixture o trims and a change in the walls.
Instead of one wall all the way up, I created one by floor, plus a thinner wall for covering the frame.
Added some reputation ;)
Thanks.

Do you mean "repetition" ?????????
( you won't get a very good reputation if you can't spell repetition ) !!!!!

I actually meant reputation.
It's this small icon.
And by the way, I don't really know what it does exactly.
