I have created a custom Ribbon for my office that is pretty extensive
I set the associated .cuix file to 'read only' and unlock it while editing
Recently i have noticed I cannot move/drag panels around in the panel...

any advice?

thanks

Welcome to AUGI, and Congrats on your first post!
are you referring to not being able to move panels around when it is unlocked, or when you have it set to read only? If the cuix file is read only, you wont be able to relocate panels on the ribbon.

anyone?....

man, this website moves slow. You expect us to work on the weekend? ;)

BTW, I see no issues like what you describe. This is even with the following structure:

Main:
User.cuix (r/w)
AcImpression.cuix (r/w)
AutodeskSeek.cuix (r/w)

Enterprise:
Sparling MEP.cuix (ro)
Sparling Common.cuix (ro)
MEP (r/w)
AcEtMain (r/w)

Note that (r/w) indicates that the file and folder permissions are read-write to the user, not that the CUI has magically granted r/w to the user in enterprise within the CUI editor.

The (ro) indicates files that hade read-only permission on the network, while the network folder which hosts the files still has read/write permissions to avoid the fatal bug described here (http://forums.augi.com/showthread.php?t=112368).
