I am making a walk-though of a project.
I set the flyby for 900 frames @ 720 x 555, 25 frames per second.
Display setting - ray-tracing
Used Microsoft MPG 2.0 codex
Each frame I saw... processed properly (didn't want to watch paint dry)
When it was finished... I opened and ran it using Windows Media Player.... here is the problem... a corner of the video is clipped off and appears on the other side of the model AND the building looks like the leaning tower of Pisa.

Anyone else have this problem?

Try a different codec, or do it uncompressed & see if that solves it.

you can also always render to individual jpegs, and bypass the codec and avi thing completely. Simply pick 'jpeg' rather than 'avi' as the file type when selecting where the animation should go.

Thanks... not sure what happened... but it happened twice. Worked like a charm last night.

Only problem I have now is that it is too fast. I set the frames to 25 and 900 frames, should have figured that 36 sec is a little short for a 360.

Is 25 frames per sec the correct speed to produce a DVD? How about resolution 750 x 555? I am looking to have this run on a TV.

Is anyone else doing fly by? How are you setting up your presentations?

Thanks

Doug
