Section Marks not visible

In a project a floor plan callout of a particular section of the floor plan was created and then the following wall sections for that part of the building were created in the floor plan callout. We have found that the section marks will only show up in the callout or views created in the callout but wont show up on the original floor plan or elevations.

Is there a way to make these section marks show up in all views where they should be visible?

I do not think you can get the section mark to appear back in the "original"-overall
floor plan, if it was placed in the plan callout.

However, if you want a section mark in the overall plan, place a new section
and select "reference other view", and then select the section you made in the callout.

Check the "hide at scales coarser than" option in the element properties of the section you created, it will default to the scale of the callout, change this scale to be smaller than your overall plan. This should make it visibile in the overall floor plan as long as the coarser than scale is smaller than the plan view scale.
