I've just started using ASD and I'm running through the "Getting Started with ASD, Reinforcement Module" tutorial. I was able to get through the beam section with no problems, but when I run either the column or spread footing macros I get undesirable results. I run the macro and set all of the required settings, but the geometry it creates is flawed.
The spread footing and column comes in with no "stirrups" and some dimensions are missing. Also, the geometry is just automatically placed at 0,0. I can't manually place it like I did with the beam formwork.
I get the same results when I export from Revit Structure 2010.
Has anyone run across this problem? I've loaded all of the hotfix's. I thought I'd try here before contacting support.
