View Title Bar is Blank

Using Revit MEP 2010 I have started a new sheet and when I drag my selected view onto the sheet the Title Bar contains no title or scale info.

Can anyone help?

Views can have different diffrent types of title bar, some with a title, some without, some with the title alone, others with title and scale; maybe you've just used the wrong type?

If not, let us know.

I'm very new to this and so have no doubt this is user error.

Where exactly do I select what type of Title Bar is to be displayed?
I've looked at the view element properties and don't see it there.

You need to select your view on your sheet, on the Ribbon, you should see a Type selector, in the left upper corner. See the screenshot for more detail ;o)
