Hi!

I'm pretty new at this revit thing. (We ordered Revit Structure last week) so until our licenses arrives I've downloaded the demo to play with :)

It feels like i searched trough the entire web after a solution/tutorial on how to create a sweep that crosses one or more layers. (see attached pdf) I would even like to do this in openings like ACA encaps. How do i create this? Is there a way like we did in ACA?

Thanks in advance

You can add a sweep to a wall and set it to cut the wall. As long as the material assigned to the sweep is the same as the material it is joined to it will clean up.Check out the Brick and Block on Mtl Stud wall type that is loaded with the default template file. To see how it works search the Revit help for sweeps reveals
As for openings, generally it is easier to add these type of elements as part of the window/opening family.
Specific circumstances and requirements would dictate the best approach.

I finally manged to create a profile (this time with the right template ;)) But, there is a but. It don't clean up properly, and i can't assign the thermal layer. Only one layer.

Is there a solution for this?
