Summary: The ability to search for specific text strings in an AutoCAD file while outside of AutoCAD

How Used: The bottom line is, everyone wants a DWG ifilter from Autodesk that will allow the industry standard "Open Search" methods to index text in Autodesk files.
The existing Autodesk "ifilter" works only from within an AutoCAD application and must scan the files every time you use it (old school).
The way everyone else does it is with ifilters that talk to the standard indexing engines. These indexing engines scan the files once and make that available to any search client (like MS Desktop Search 4 in XP or the built in search in Vista and Windows 7).
