Cant rotate Family

Does anyone know why I can't rotate this toilet fixture after placing it into any floor plan?

I suspect that it is a "wall hosted" family, so it must have a wall to "stick to".

There are some toilet families which are non-wall hosted, try one of those.

This is not a wall hosted family, it should rotate. The crazy think about it is that I already created abother one that works fine. These are created using the create family under file menu, then chosing plumbing fixture as my template. Its not wall hosted and should be able to rotate.

The families both can be rotated after placing in the project. The problem you are having is that the .dwg file that was imported into the family has an origin that is rather far away from the actual line work. Do a zoom to fit and you'll see what I mean. Once you have imported the .dwg file do a full explode on it and reload into your project. Now you can rotate as you would expect. The families you had posted did rotate in the project but they were trying to rotate around a point that was quite far from the line work of the toilet family and it would have seemed that they just plain would not rotate.
