Dependant views not updating

Some things don't update in dependent views, like hiding elements.How can I fix this? Thanks.

You can't. There are only a few "independant" items in Dependant views. One in "Hide .... in View", and the other is the head/tail length adjustments on Sections and details, but only if they are created in the dependant view versus the Parent view.

So if I do my editing in the dependendent view, the changes will show up in the parent view?
