View Full Version : Material Mapping/RPC Rendering Problems

Suddenly our model began inconsistently rendering. Several of the materials turn black with repeating red squares and RCPs become large red blobs. At first we thought this was somehow related to the linked site file- but it has also been happening when the site file is unloaded.

These renderings were all done in the same session of Revit. They are made from the same view, with a variety of objects/worksets/categories hidden. It has this problem regardless if it is at low or best resolution, screen or print. We have tried to render with the same bad results on three separate computers.

The materials that it improperly renders are the stone and RCP entourage, occasionally it will improperly render the grass as well. These attached renderings were done at a draft resolution to show a few examples of the problem.

We have rendered these images successfully several times in the past. Thoughts?

It is not finding the material. Make sure you have added the path to the material and rpc locations in the settings/rendering/library locations.

Thanks Cliff!

Turning off the light fixture category fixed the problem.
