Floor Railings?

In the families list under railings, there is 'Floor Railing'.

What are these used for, and how are they added to the project? I thought they might have been used for railings that aren't stair base.

On the modelling menu, there is only an option to add Railings to the project, and these are pulled from the 'Railing' family.

I just did a little investigating in the Revit Help menu and under the project standards worksets, railings are broken into two categories, stair railings and floor railings. I assume this is new to 7 and now non-stair hosted railings are grouped separately? Anyone like to verify...?

This was the only location that I could find 'Floor Railing' mentioned, when I initially looked.
So at the moment, we can look but not touch. :screwy:
