What is the trick to getting under floor ducts to show hidden?
Edit: Not automatically and filter looks like it would take some work so either use the line work tool or override graphics.

Revit is set to use the beyond linstyle when you draw stuff between the bottom range of your view and the view depth.
See attached screenshot.
Edit: What do you mean by not automatically?

NOT automatically? like changing your view range to be at the raised floor level? that might work automatically. I would want to avoid linework, I think...
you could just override that particular element and set the linetype to dashed or hidden.
for the project I'm working on we had to do some tricky visibility settings for specific elements. I created a project parameter and applied to all items that it could cover and a filter that would change the visibility of that based on entering particular text for that parameter, like "underfloor" which would filter that element to some hidden linetype. Works well and is fairly quick.

My 2 cents...
I would avoid overrides and linework.
I would put all of the below floor ductwork on its own workset and create a filter for that workset.

It does work automatically, but just need to set up a few items.
1. Set Line Style up for <Beyond>. (Beyond is an OOTB line style.) It's not an override this is the intent of what do to in Revit. I never thought it worked, then I noticed that <Beyond> was set up as continous OOTB. We just changed it to the hidden line type.
2. Set your view Range up as noted above by cad-max. For attached image anything that is placed 0" to -10' will use the <Beyond> Line Style.
See attached images, this is what we do.
Hope this helps.

Oh neat, didn't know that objects between view range bottom and depth were affected like that. Learn something new every day. :D
