model graphics setting

Hello all. (I'm working in revit 2009) for some reason when i created a 3-d view with a scope box to get a 3-d section of model to use for a presentation. However when i do this, it looks as though its set to wire frame but its set to shading with edges. I have no idea how to fix this, as Ive tried everything. Anyone know what to do? thanks for the help.

Clarify:

Section Box or Scope Box?

Try using a Section Box.

thanks cliff for the response. I meant to say section box in my first post, my mistake. I dont know if that helps narrows down the problem any.

if you are saying what i think you are saying...

either manually for the view (wall,floor,etc) or filter to turn off surface patterns (so you dont get painted/shaded look)?
