Gross area boundary lines

Is there a way to make Gross area boundary lines default to the INSIDE face of exterior walls? International Building Code goes by this for figuring occupancy calculations, and is usually what we use area plans for.

do you have more than 1 room?

if not, you could just use a room (or have a level above all office build-out, and have an entire interior walls area)

but i couldnt find much in terms of editing/changing gross area
