I have three design options but my problem is that I want One of the options to show all black lines not half tone. Is there a way to do this?

I'm not aware of a way to do this within a single project file since all the model elements are controled by Object Styles. Changing anything would be applied throughout the project. You might try placing all your DOs in a linked file which could then been set to Halftone in the V/G settings. Not really ideal but it would get you were you want to go and then after an option is picked you could bind the link into the main project file.

Why are they showing half tone? I haven't use D/O's in a while, but I remember everything looking normal in their respective views - cept when edting I think.

Go into the View Properties of that view, and set it to expressly look at that option. Then everything will appear black line.

Are you sure that it's design options that are causing the halftone/gray effect? It could also be phasing that is causing that. Look at your view properties and check the phase of your current view and compare that to the phase of some objects that are halftone.
