I am wanting to have a drop down menu that I can insert blocks from. I have done this in the past with a mnu file. I have created a new Menu and Sub menu and command for the submenu. eg. ^C^C insert BUSHING It works fine until I make another command eg. ^C^C insert PLUG When I make the second command it changes the first one to be exactly as the second on. Whta it is doing is changing the original insert command. i need to know ho i can do this without creating a new command for every block I want on the pull down. I am using plane old Acad 2010.

Welcome to AUGI & congrats on your 1st post.
Are you using the Duplicate on the menu? I'd advise duplicating the command 1st, and then changing the new command. Then drag it into the menu.

Thanks for the quick response. I did use duplicate to copy the first command. But whenever I change one of the commands it changes them all to be the same. There has got to be something simple that I am missing.

The Duplicate option copies the original command and assigns a new element ID so there is no tie to the original command. Are you sure you are picking your new duplicate in the command list. It seems to me that the interface can indicate that it has selected the new command but this is not what is displayed in the properties pane, it is still showing the original command's properties.
