Line Style in Family

How do you change or add a line style in a family for a model or symbolic line?

There are two things to consider here, Line patterns and object styles. When you want to create a line pattern you go under settings, Line Patterns and create it. When you want to apply it to an object, like a symbolic or model line, you go under Settings, Object Style and create a new subcategory for the line you want to create and assign it all the properties you want, color, line pattern, material, etc. and click OK. Once you do that then the subcategory you created should be in there when you go to create a new line. HTH

Settings / Object Styles, then add a new subcategory to which you assign a line style, using the line patterns loaded. Or you can make your own pattern.
