Hi there.
What would be the best way to model expanded steel mesh in revit? (See attached image)
Is there an easy way to do this without using a series of solids and voids? Possilby something like a curtain wall system...
Any ideas,
Craig

Thin solid material. Pattern File for shaded views. Material for rendering.

Hi Phil
Thank you for your response.
Thought that might be the best way!
Is it possible to make that material transparent in the 'void' sections of the expanded mesh? I need to see detail behind the mesh? If so does any of the default materials in Revit do just this?
Has anyone created expanded steel mesh in revit using this technique?

Okay so I have sort of part answered my own question!
The default Metal Steel Mesh Material does what I am wanting to achieve.
